Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Patchment (the "Service"), a product of Blockd International Inc. Patchment is an operational coordination layer that helps field-service businesses turn incoming service requests into scheduled, completed jobs. By using the Service or connecting it to a third-party platform such as Jobber, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Patchment ingests service requests, coordinates scheduling and customer communication, and writes jobs back to your connected field-service management ("FSM") system. Your FSM remains the system of record. Patchment acts on your behalf and under your direction.
2. Accounts and connected platforms
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any credentials you use to connect third-party platforms. When you authorize a connection (for example, to Jobber via OAuth), you grant Patchment permission to access and modify data in that platform to provide the Service. You may revoke that access at any time from the connected platform.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by using it to send unlawful, harassing, or unsolicited communications, to violate the terms of a connected platform, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
4. Communications
The Service may send SMS and place or answer voice calls with your customers on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary consent to contact your customers and for compliance with applicable communications laws.
5. SMS/text messaging program — "Patchment Job Updates"
Businesses using the Service to text their customers and field technicians do so under the "Patchment Job Updates" messaging program. Messages sent under this program include appointment confirmations, technician arrival/en-route updates, and post-service follow-ups to customers, and job-dispatch messages to field technicians. Message frequency varies based on your scheduled appointments (typically 2–6 messages per job). Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out of messages at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@patchment.app. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
A complete description of how end users opt in to this program, including the consent language used on phone calls, is published at patchment.app/sms-opt-in.
6. Data and privacy
Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Patchment will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and disconnect any connected platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@patchment.app.
